Remove an invited or accepted member from a team when their access should end.

Remove a team member

Remove a member when their invitation or delegated access to a team should end.

When to remove access

Use the member delete action when a person has left the business, finished subcontractor work, joined the wrong team or should lose access to the delegated workspace.

The member can also leave a team from their team membership area when the action applies to their own membership.

Removing a member from the team workspace

  1. Open Team Management.
  2. Open the relevant team.
  3. Find the member row.
  4. Open the member action menu.
  5. Choose Delete and confirm the removal.

Follow-up after removal

After removal, review remaining team members and permission counts. If the person handled quotes, projects, files or field tasks, reassign those responsibilities through the relevant operational records.
